The women of WIL invite you to the patio of Playa Mesa - Mexican Kitchen for hosted wine, beer, margaritas and light appetizers.  You will learn more about WIL, meet our WIL Board Members, many of our candidates and elected officials, and hear from our very own WIL endorsed candidate and special guest speaker, Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris.  Assemblywoman Cottie Petrie-Norris represents the 74th Assembly District which includes South Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Laguna Woods, Costa Mesa and most of Irvine. Cottie is a successful businesswoman, community leader, wife and mom. Cottie lives in Laguna Beach with her family – her husband Colin, two sons Dylan and Hayden, and their rescue dog Flounder.

Women In Leadership is a bi-partisan Political Action Committee formed in 1993 for the purpose of electing women candidates to local, regional and state-wide office who are dedicated to keeping access to full reproductive rights. We provide funds to candidates who believe that ensuring access to reproductive education and healthcare is essential to safeguarding rights for all women.  In the last election cycle, we contributed more than $100,000 to our endorsed candidates.
